Don't forget! If you have an event- list it for free on the community calendar



If you have any kind of event at your restaurant/ club/ coffee shop and want to get the word out, you can list it on the community calendar for FREE.

Click here to input your event in this database that multiple outlets are now using (DWSP, Arts Council, Visit Winston-Salem, Smitty's Notes, WFU, WSSU, UNCSA, Salem College, etc).

September 10-12 Weekend of Activities

There are many events taking place the weekend of Sept. 10-12 in Winston-Salem, with a good deal of them taking place downtown. Visit Winston-Salem has put together this brochure to highlight the weekend. Bookmarks Book Festival Returns to Arts District

Street Closures from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 11 – with a portion of Sixth Street closed beginning at 12 midnight so the main stage can be built. We are working in conjunction with Finnigan’s Wake who is also hosting St. Baldrick’s Day on September 11. Access by car for all downtown residents has been arranged from Fifth Street to Trade and from Sixth to North Cherry. A full festival program will be posted by Friday at www.bookmarksbookfestival.org
